A Trip down memory lane.
You all know the big question that needs an answer at birthdays and Christmas, namely, what to get the man who has everything! And last Christmas was no different for me. Then I saw it on Mary’s Facebook page, a beautiful painting of the royal canal walk at Baltrasna bridge. This is a regular walk for us as it is a trip down memory lane for “himself” who played on the bridge as a child.
With another lockdown pending it meant we wouldn’t get to do that walk as it is outside our 5km limit. So mountain and Mohammad came to mind! I commissioned Mary to paint 2 scenes at Baltrasna. No need to say they were very well received.
